Here’s How to Get the New Gmail
Google may not be rolling out its new compose and reply format for Gmail to everyone yet, but there's still a way to take it for a spin.
The company announced on Tuesday that it is testing a new email layout to make it easier to reference other emails without having to close a draft. Similar to a pop-up chat screen, an email draft rests on top of the main inbox without overtaking the entire screen.
Although the feature isn't completely launched, it's possible to switch to the new format at any time -- and of course, switch back if you don't like it.
